Question

I can’t install any plugins for Premiere Pro through Creative Cloud

On the Creative Cloud desktop app, when I go to the Stock & Marketplace section and then to Plugins, I can search for plugins like Motion Bro and others, but instead of an ‘Install’ button I only see ‘Learn More’. When I click on ‘Learn More’, it redirects me to the ‘Manage Plugins’ window, where the only available options are ‘Search all plugins’ or ‘Manage plugins’. There is no option to install or add any plugin at all. I’m on a Mac, using Creative Cloud 2025 and Premiere Pro 2025.

Has anyone encountered this issue before or knows how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance!

if the above doesn’t help, do you have an education, teams or enterprise subscription?

When I check my Adobe account, both in the Plans section and on my invoice, it shows that I am on the Creative Cloud Pro plan. I did benefit from a student discount when I subscribed, but my plan is still listed as Creative Cloud Pro (individual), not Education, Teams or Enterprise.

Let me know if that helps clarify.
Thanks for your help!

@Tarun Saini

Sorry for the delayed response; I was unavailable for the entire last month.

Thank you for your help.
The problem persists despite the attempts I've made.

Attached are screenshots of my application. The first image shows my plugins page, and the second shows what I see when I search for a plugin in the store. The blue button says (in French) "Learn more."

Hi @Sim03,

Welcome to the community! We’re sorry to hear about this. Could you please try signing out and signing back in, and then try again to check if that helps? Also, do you see all plugin options under stock & Marketplace? If so, try searching for the plugin, and you’ll get an option to get. i.e. install.

Regards,

Tarun

Hi Tarun,
Thank you very much for your help, I really appreciate it.

I already tried signing out and signing back in, but unfortunately it didn’t fix the issue.

In Stock & Marketplace, I don’t really see installable plugins. When I search for a plugin I’m interested in, I don’t get the ‘Get’ button — I only see ‘Learn More’. And when I click on it, it redirects me to the ‘Manage Plugins’ page, where I only see a blank screen saying ‘No plugins acquired’.

Let me know if there’s anything else I can try.
Thanks again for your help!

@Sim03

first try, resetting the cc app: To reset the Creative Cloud desktop app, make sure it's in the foreground, then press: Win: Ctrl + Alt + R Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

if that fails, do a clean cc install:

uninstall every cc app including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

download the cc desktop app by using the links at the both of this page, https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/apps/download-install-apps/creative-cloud-apps/download-creative-cloud-desktop-app-from-web.html

install the cc desktop app using an administrator account (solution 4 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
