I can't view a file in Creative Cloud web.

When I upload a file to Creative Cloud Web it shows up as just a symbol and I'm not able to view the entire file, nor make comments on it. It creates a link to share, but the users are not able to view the file either. For example, a PDF file (created in Indesign) shows up as a PDF symbol. Anyone else have this issue?
