Is my Creative Cloud folder the same as my local files folder?

I am just starting to trial Creative Cloud (Dreamweaver). I already have my local website files in a folder on my hard disk (Windows 7). Downloading CC Desktop has created a Creative Cloud folder. Should I use that folder now for my local files or can I continue to use my original folder (and have it synced)?

The syncing has nothing to do with DW's site setup. Feel free to use whatever folders you deem best.
