I got an recurring error "Libraries Sync Error Please check Firewall Settings" after upgrade Mac OS to Sonoma 14.0.  Anyone an idea?

I 've found similar topics about the same issue for Windows, but not on Mac.

The support agent was not able to help (or didn't even try, he/she closed without comments).

@kglad Your suggestion in one of the other questions you answered of:

reset the cc desktop app by making sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

Worked great for me on the Mac. I had been getting the Libraries Sync Error since updating to Sonoma last week. Reboots did not fix it but the reset of the Creative Cloud Desktop app worked perfectly for me.

@kgladbad news: today the problem popped up again.  Yesterday I restarted my computer several times and always the program kept working, today I see the problem back again.

Anyway, I feel Sonoma isn't working right on several programs, I might considering a downgrade until the majority of issues is solved in the OS.

to be sure, there are many sonoma/adobe problems being reported.

this is always the case when apple releases a major update to their os;  adobe issues abound until the first or second update after apple's release, then they decrease substantially.

sonoma may be the issue. i'm seeing more than few reports of this issue.

try:

first, update your os and then restart your computer. if that fails proceed to the following steps:

1. Delete all folders that start with “CC_LIBRARIES_PANEL_EXTENSION_xx_xx_xx” in this location:

WIN: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions

MAC: Macintosh HD⁩ ▸ ⁨Library⁩ ▸ ⁨Application Support⁩ ▸ ⁨Adobe⁩ ▸ ⁨CEP⁩ -> extensions

2. Follow the steps of Solution 2 in this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/libraries-panel-not-working.html

Before trying the steps - please, make sure you killed the CCLibraries process in Task Manager / Activity Monitor, as well as you have quit all Adobe related products.
