Lightroom Premium subscription current but won’t restore on new iPad

Hi Adobe Community!

Just got a new iPad Pro for Xmas and despite setting up the new one from the previous one and having a current LR premium account that's up to date, it won't restore purchase or acknowledge my account?  Please help, thank you!

Please make sure you are using the correct email for your login id.  I don't see a subscription associated with the email account you are using for this forum.

As far as I know, I logged in with my normal Apple ID just from face recognition when given the choice for login options when I launched the LR app.

Since employee PeterB2 does not see a subscription you will need to contact Apple

Did you buy from Adobe or from Apple?

Hi!  Thanks for your time.  I bought the LR Premium with my Apple ID!  It says it's current, etc.

what do you mean by "despite setting up the new one from the previous one"?

Ah sorry!  I mean I set up my new, blank iPad by importing the "old" one over from iCloud backup.  So essentially, it is exactly the same device.  The new iPad was purchased in France and where it is currently located, whereas the old iPad was from the US.  I don't think it matters, as it is the same Apple ID and such.

and that (transfer of adobe apps) is a problem.

 

 remove the adobe apps and then properly install them.
