microsoft prevents me from using adobe in attachmnets viewing

Question

Gmail and/or Microsoft prevent me from using Adobe to view attachments in my email. Adobe is not an option and is actively blocked when I go to choose what program I wish to use.
 
Kindly fix this for me.
