Museo Sans fonts not syncing with an applications other then Adobe Creative Suite Apps

I am having issues syncing any part of the Museo Sans Font Family with applications other then Adobe Creative Cloud apps. I am running a Mac with OS version 10.10.4 and Creative Cloud 2015. This is not happening with just my system but others as well, When I choose Museo Sans in say Sketch it shows up with Regular and Bold as the options as opposed to 100, 300, 500, 700, 900 etc. and after selecting the font it automatically defaults back to Lucida Grand. When trying to use the font with apps like Pages, Text Edit, or other system applications the font just doesn't show up in the font picker.

I do have other TypeKit fonts synced and they are performing like they should.

I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with this. We have confirmed with our contacts at Apple that this is related to how OS X 10.10.4 validates the font files. They are working on an update, which would be included in a future OS X update.

The fonts synced from Typekit will work in Adobe Creative Cloud applications and in some system programs such as Mail or Notes, but not in third-party software such as Sketch.

I'll update this thread with any new information that we receive. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but please let me know if you have any other questions! Best,

just my 2 cents since I had this problem up recently.

Sketch was not recognizing my fonts for some of them that I synced. (Granted I am on a beta operating system for macos (currently Sierra)

What I did was I went to the typekit website, removed the synced conflicting fonts (my case Sofia Pro) and then resynced them.

I reopened Sketch and it was perfectly fine.

Hope this helps

Hey there,

This problem is fixed in OS X 10.10.5, which was released earlier today. To upgrade your computer, open the App Store program and click the Updates option.

After you have installed the 10.10.5 update and restarted the computer, all fonts from Typekit will work in Sketch, Pages, and other third-party software again.

Please give that a try, and let me know if you have any questions! Best,

I got problems with Museo Sans font as well. Running OS 10.10.5 the font shows up in CC Illustrator but not in CC Premiere Pro.

What can I do about it?

Grateful for help,
