Question

My Anti Virus software is blocking Adobe CEF Helpler

I just received a message from McAfee that it blocked Adobe CEF Helper. It viewed it as a risky connection that hackers could use. Is this going to be an issue? Will this cause any operating problems? Of course I can't risk disabling my anti-virus protection. Has anyone else seen this recently, and/or have any ideas on this issue?

Please advise.

What version of Photoshop are you using? CEF Helper was used by previous versions for online access to Adobe servers e.g. Libraries. I am not sure about license checks.

In current versions you will see Edge Webview.

Provided you are using a legitimate, licensed vetsion, you should be safe to mark it as an exception in antivirus.
