Name of local Creative Cloud folder on macOS

I do not understand why the name of the local Creative Cloud folder on macOS (14.3.1) is no longer "Creative Cloud Files" but follows the following pattern:

Creative Cloud Files Personal Account <emailaddress> <string_of_24_uppercaseLetters_and_numbers>@AdobeID

Since when is this and why has it to be so?

It bothers me to have such a long name in the Finder's sidebar...

Correct answer kglad

it was announced by adobe months, in advance. you'll see the rename since your sync service ended.

Ah, ok, so it was a consequence of *that* thing! Thanks!

I knew about it, but hadn't read about the consequences.

Now, if I understood correctly, the local folder is only local and I can do whatever I want with it, right?

The 100GB storage I have with my CC plan is now reserved for Libraries, Document Cloud, as listed in that article. Its content is only accessible through the web portal or supported apps (Acrobat, Ps, Ai, ...).

Am I missing anything else?

document cloud can be accessed via acrobat apps on mobile devices.
