No search results in my CC library

I have my setting to search ALL libraries but when I search for an image I KNOW is there it says "no search results". Then if I go to the actually library where it lives I can plainly see that the image is there (and has the name I was searchin for)! What is going on with the search feature in the libraries. It is driving my NUTS not being able to search all libraries. Can anyone help?

I also experience this problem with CC Libraries and it's infuriating. I have a few folders in libraries, for example one with logos of my company's technologies, which are often used in many projects. Even though I "search in all libraries" and type the name correctly, I get 0 results. I have to remind myself in which folder there was a file I'm looking for and manually open it. The search function is totally useless now for me, so the libraries are becoming more of a burden than a tool. I can't pre-open and refresh every library every time I open the program - just in case I need one of the files.

I am on PC, Windows 10, the problem started happening with latest versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other apps, I'm not sure if 2023 or 2024 version. I reverted to Illustrator 2019, where the older version (and more user friendly with its convenient dropdown menu) of CC Libraries panel is still working correctly and searching everything as it should (aside from the older version of the Illustrator being sadly much lighter memory-wise and more stable for me).

Was this ever fixed?
I've now just been hit with the same issues as @MillerTimeMT in 2025!

This is insanity, all of my libraries are now showing as blank - which destroys our entire workflow as ALL of our brand assets across all the different brands we work on are built into these libraries - when i open the browser version the assets are there so theres a massive issue with cloud libraries not talking to PS, AI and INDD since a recent update, but since miller was copping this a year ago maybe its something else?

Tried to sort it via online chat support but they were worse than useless so hoping this forum helps better, it has completely derailed my work this week

I am having the same issue.

It has totally wrecked my productivity at work to the point I am considering not using the libraries anymore since now I realize how vulnerable I am to Adobe - especially since they don't allow us to easily export or access the images in our libraries outside of CC - forcing us to store them on our internal hard drives buried deep, renaming all the files to something completely arbitrary, and with no way to export the assets from the library without opening each and every file and exporting using the app it was created in. I have begrudgingly accepted all of that, but this is something I simply cannot ignore.

 

I have been waiting for an update to fix this issue, in the beginning not finding anyone else complaining about it in the forums and thinking it was my issue - doing huge amounts of wasted time troubleshooting. And it still isn't fixed, more than a MONTH LATER, which is unacceptable on multiple levels. And in fact, now it is WORSE in that the libraries aren't populating properly as well - erratically!

I have multiple computers, windows & macs and they all have the same issue. I've been using libraries since the minute they came out, every day. So, there is no way Adobe can say it is a computer or user issue. I am the earliest adopter of libraries and it has saved me a lot of time working in Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, InDesign AND Premiere (predominantly). But if this doesn't get fixed ASAP now, I will move on to a stable system I can control, sadly.

Also the fact I can't store my 1tb of adobe libraries on an external hard drive continues to be an issue, so this just tops it all off.

Come on, Adobe. Don't just concentrate on AI and let the current products go down the tubes in reliability!! Which seems to be the case in more than one of the programs I use, sigh.

@AdbeFlor "Again", lol. I saw that and it is great and gives me a sliver of hope I can go back to a productive day sooner than later. However, Adobe said they were 'working on it' nearly a month ago, and it's been an issue for longer than that, and that is why I added my detailed comments - it is costing me serious money now. I rarely complain, as you can see if you look at my profile. It is time that Adobe makes this a true priority.

I am having the same problem.  It is very annoying.  I search my libraries constantly, so this is something that broke in a recent update.

I tried this and it did not work. I still get no search results for items I KNOW are in my library and I have to find them manually! It's SUPER frustrating.
