Norton flags my Adobe Portfolio link as suspicious

I have just sent my Adobe Portfolio link to a prospective client and Norton is treating my link as a suspicious link. Rollover my (embarrassingly) red link and the pop-up says “Norton now warns you of suspicious links in your email to protect you from malicious activity” Great - thanks.

Does anyone have any ideas why is this happening?

Correct answer Nancy OShea

Most likely an overzealous anti-virus setting in Norton or you posted a link to unsecured HTTP and not HTTPS (secure) site protocol.

A direct link to your Adobe Portfolio site should not send up any red flags. As an example, below is a link to my Portfolio.  Do you see any red flags?

Hi and thank you Nancy for your answer.

First I tried your link in my gmail which is where I got the flag. Yours did not create a flag, and mine did. I have two portfolios, well one and a "half made" portfolio! One is my name and one is my name plus a couple of extra characters to differentiate between the two. I tried both portfolio links and only the one with appended link is the one with the flag. Interesting.

Norton puts a banner on the email asking if I want to continue to the suspicious link. Gurr

Yes these are HTTPS links.

It is probably Norton being over zealous, but I do hope the client doesn't see this flag.

Thank you once again

On the web special characters are used in programming.   For best results, remove all special characters and spaces from page names.  Stick with alpha or alpha-numeric chartacters, also hyphens - and underscores_ are permitted.

Hi do you mean there is no forum for Adobe Portfolio issues? There is no help with this issue on the link you gave. I see three Adobe Portfolio forum "related conversations" on the right hand side of this post. Are we all to go elsewhere?

As far as I know, there is no user-to-user forum for Portfolio. You have to contact the Portfolio team through the Contact us link at the top of the page.

There are some people here who answer questions about Portfolio, but it isn't the focus of the community as a whole. It's pretty hit or miss whether someone sees and can answer your question.

@Nancy OShea, do you have any ideas?
