Question

Not enough memory even though more than 200 GBs available

I have had this problem for a long time now. I cant download any programms in the creative cloud, it always says, that I don't have enough memory, even though I have more than 200 GB available. I tried re-installing the creative cloud, creating new folders and I also waited months for new updates. Still, it doesn't work. The Support Chat-Bot says I have to make more space, but I don't think Adobe programms take 200 GB.

Maybe anyone knows what to do or has the same problem?

did your cc desktop app install and does it open without any problem?

are you using (or trying to use) the cc desktop app to install cc apps to the default location?

I am currently trying the given solutions in the post above, but I have to say that I changed the download disk to a different one than the main one (in the cc settings). I could maybe think of this as a problem, but I can't change it when downloading the creative cloud.

if you changed the default install location, that's almost certainly the problem, and the adobe error message is probably misleading. ie, you may have plenty of space on that hard drive, but it may be removable or a root directory on that hard drive or (the most likely cause); improperly (for adobe's usage) formatted.
