Question

Not possible to simultaneously have 2 programs open on 2 different CC acounts?

My partner has their own CC account with Photoshop which I use on my pc. I recently purchased another program (substance designer) but find that I can't have both open at the same time. So I have to keep swapping accounts.

Is there any solution for this? other than canceling a license and re-licensing it on the other account?

That's correct. It is not possible. And indeed, not permitted. Apps may not be shared, not with friends, colleagues, students, staff, family or partners. Hence, you are not permitted to use Photoshop under your partner's license, and your partner is not permitted to use Substance Designer under your license.

Ok, let's word this another way. We're allowed to have the software we purchase on 3 different machines. Is it possible to have a 2 software, each from a different account, on the same machine and be able to open them both at the same time?

Not correct... you may activate on TWO computers and use on ONE computer at a time http://www.adobe.com/legal/licenses-terms.html

The way subscriptions work is owner A may be signed in on a computer, and must sign out for owner B to sign in and use a different subscription
