Some time ago I already described the problem that I have to log in with a password almost every time Photoshop is called up. A suggested solution was implemented, after which it was quiet for some time. For a few months now I have had to log in every day with a password, really every day. I could live with that, but for a few weeks now I've had to enter a 6-digit code every day to verify my email address. The code will be sent to my e-mail address, only after I have entered it can I continue to enter the password. As I said, every day, every time Photoshop, Lightroom or Bridge is called up. !!!!
I have a prepaid subscription, paid for 1 year in advance and valid until July.
What is this nonsense? I've been using the purchased and paid Adobe.Products for years, I didn't expect such rubbish. I almost think this is not a program error but caused by some madman.
So once again the daily order:
I start Photoshop, am asked to log in, enter my email address, have to wait for a code in my mailbox, then type it in, only then can I enter my password and only then does Photoshop run.
Stupid, right?

instead of signing in, you could try to reset your cc desktop app.  to reset the cc desktop app by making sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

if that fails, something on your computer (eg, av, antimalware, cleaner, defragger) is removing or corrupting your sign in credentials that are stored on your computer.

You are probably right. So far I have always used the CCleaner program to clean the history etc. before shutting down the PC. Since I stopped doing this everything is back to normal, I can use Photoshop and the other Adobe programs without having to log in again with a password and identification
Many thanks for the help

you're welcome.

p.s.  i think you instruct ccleaner to leave certain folders untouched.
