What do you mean you turned them into "Adobe files?"  Adobe is a company name like Apple or Amazon.  It's not a file type.

PDF is a portable document format suitable for viewing in Acrobat Pro DC or FREE Acrobat Reader as well as other PDF viewers.

Perhaps what you're trying to say is that the old icon for PDF files has changed on your operating system.  If so, you just need to re-associate PDF files.

On my Windows 10 machine, you do that by right-clicking on the PDF file from Windows File Explorer and selecting Properties.   See screenshot.

Post back if you need more help.

When you post a question you always need to tell the program you are using
There are MANY programs in a full subscription, plus other non-subscription programs
Please post the exact name of the Adobe program you use so a Moderator may move this message to that forum
