Photoshop is freezing my system

Hi Adobe Community,

I'm encountering a frustrating issue with Photoshop. Whenever I try to open the software, my PC freezes completely. This is only happening with Photoshop; other Adobe applications like Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Blender work fine. Also photoshop is not opening...

I've already tried the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Reinstallation: I've uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop multiple times.
  • Plugin Removal: I've disabled and removed all third-party plugins.

Despite these efforts, the freezing issue persists. I'm using i7 12Gen Processcor with RTX 3070 Ti and 16 Gb RAM.

Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions for this problem? I'd appreciate any help you can provide.

using the cc desktop app to uninstall per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html)

 

uninstall all betas

test if problem's resolved

 

if not, uninstall problematic apps, restart your computer and reinstall the problematic apps.

 

test.  if the problem's resolved, you can probably reinstall the betas, but waiting a bit would be prudent.
