Question

Portfolio site gone after cancelling long ago — site not in my editor, need to retrieve my only copy of my work

Hello,

I need help retrieving my Adobe Portfolio site: hlehel.myportfolio.com.

I cancelled my Creative Cloud subscription a long time ago, and my Portfolio site is now gone — the address redirects to a "missing" page. I can still sign in to my Adobe account, but the site does not appear in my Portfolio editor, and there is no other profile to switch to on this account. I already tried Adobe's support chat, but the virtual assistant would not connect me to an advisor because there is no active plan on my account, so I am posting here.

I understand Portfolio needs an active plan to stay published, and I am not looking to resubscribe — but this site was the only place where I kept my work material (my film and media portfolio), and I need to retrieve that material.

Can Adobe staff please check, looking the site up by its address (hlehel.myportfolio.com):

1. Whether my site and its uploaded content still exist on Adobe's side, and how long they are retained before permanent deletion.

2. Which account or profile the site belongs to — I have two possible account emails and can share them privately with Adobe staff.

3. How I can access the content and download the original files I uploaded, without an active subscription.

4. If there is any export option, or whether Adobe can temporarily republish/reactivate the site for a short window so I can download everything.

This material is my professional portfolio and is not backed up anywhere else, so recovering the original files matters a great deal. Thank you for your help.

There are no files to download.  Portfolio isn’t the kind of website.  It’s a closed CMS similar to WordPress without the dashboard.

Depending on when you cancelled, it might be gone now.

    What Happens to Your Portfolio
    • 14-Day Grace Period: Your Adobe Portfolio website stays live and public for 14 days after your subscription ends.
    • Going Offline: After the 14 days, your public website is deactivated and comes offline so visitors can no longer view it.
    • Editor Access: You do not lose your content or setup; you can still sign in and access your work inside the Adobe Portfolio Editor.
    • Future Renewal: If you resubscribe to a paid Creative Cloud plan later using the same Adobe ID, you can immediately republish your existing site without rebuilding it.
