Publishing portfolio/domain name question

I am working on a website in Adobe Portfolio. I do have a subscription so that is not an issue. I will have a domain name but I don't have it yet - it is being used on another site that will be discontinued and then I will have access to the domain name.

However, I'd like to publish the site now so my client can see it. My question is - can I publish the site now with the subdomain that Adobe assigns and then change it to my domain when it becomes available? Or can I only do one or the other of those?

Hope this is clear. Thanks.

So, to echo what kglad said and be sure I understand, I can use a built-in domain name, and then change to a custom domain name when I am ready?
