Save, Save As, File Open not working

I've updated the app, re-opend it several times and when I go to save, save as nothing happens. File Open doesn't work either. The only way I can get something to open is to open the last few projects I've been working on its displaying in the drop down. Help!

There are MANY programs in a full subscription, plus other non-subscription programs
