Saving to confuses me

Question

I'm having a hard time deciding which of the options I should use. I would like my files to be stored in the adobe cloud but I also like them on my imac so i can access easily. Which options do I choose? I have found that since I'm not consistent with my choice I sometimes can't find the file I worked on or I save the file twice, once with the change and once without. Any ideas on how I should set things up and maybe on how I can clean my mess? Thanks so much!

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
