Serious issue with Adobe OTPs Scam

I’ve been facing this problem for months and Adobe still hasn’t done anything about it. Whenever I try to reset my Adobe password, the OTP SMS doesn’t come from an official Adobe source. It comes from random scam-looking numbers on what's App. Even if I block one, the next OTP comes from another unknown number.

This is very serious concern regarding privacy and safety concern because most people won’t think twice — they request a code, they get one, and they type it in. But those scam codes can lead straight into phishing,  data leaks, or even losing  bank info without realizing where it started.

I’ve reported this to Adobe support many times and even today to look into it seriously, but they don’t take it seriously. Most of the support seems outsourced and nothing actually gets fixed or taken very seriously. Honestly, it feels like this should be investigated at a bigger level because if it’s happening to me, it’s probably happening to many others.

Adobe is a huge company and they can’t just ignore security issues like this. Please look into this matter seriously, or I will have to file a formal complaint. I have all the evidence to prove what’s been happening.

Hi @Jerry23300790jgby

Did you go through the steps here to change your password?

Are you trying to change it from your mobile device?  You may want to try from a computer instead.

If you contacted our customer support about this previously, could you share the case number?

Best,

Dave

Hi thanks for the repsonse i have been avoiding the SMS and i can reset password through email since i get otp there from official adobe, but when it comes to getting otp through mobile number this tricky scam comes, i also noticed that i has happened to many, even to my uni friends, this very serious regarding safety concern and it will honestly break trust from adobe, obivously i will not use adobe if it keeps on happening, since it's huge company i don't know why this issue hasn't been taken seriously. this is my case id ADB-41866645-L3Y2. Please look into it very seriously and i hope it's not neglected, sorry otherwise we need to file complain regarding the safety concern
