Question

"Some files failed to sync"

For a few days now, I keep getting the error 'Unable to sync files'. I have done all that is suggested on this help page: https://helpx.adobe.com/sea/creative-cloud/kb/arent-my-files-syncing.html

I have only used 30% of my storage, and did not exceed the sync capacity for the amount of folders or files. I deleted a ton of files from the trash in the online cloud files, and I'm still getting this error message.

Any tips? Thanks in advance!

I'm having the same issue (I'm on windows 10). And on top of that I don't have the "synced" icon on the files so I can't see what files failed to synced as the Creative Cloud App doesn't provide that information. But I have tried dragging some files in and out and can see that at least those file do sync. What is going on? Would be fantastic to get some sync stability.

reset the cc app by making sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

Thanks for your reply.

I've tried this several times now, also in combination with restarting my computer (MacOS catalina 10.15.7).

But the same error keeps popping up.

you'll need to continue sleuthing then to find the culprit file/folder(s).
