I want to stop Creative Cloud (CC) launching at log-in. I have gone to Creative Cloud > Preferences and unchecked the box marked Launch Creative Cloud at log-in. Sometimes this works (ie CC doesn't launch at log-in) ansd sometimes it doesn't. How do I stop CC launching at log-in permanently please? I have re-downloaded the latest version of CC. Thank you.

that's the best you can do short of uninstalling it.

Thank you for this kglad. But really? Adobe can't do better than this? I use Adobe Bridge a lot and I'm assuming that I'll lose this functionality if I uninstall Creative Cloud?

that is correct.  actually, you'll need to uninstall all adobe cc programs before you can uninstall cc.

you could ask (adobe support) for a stand-alone installer for bridge (because of problems with the cc app and no need for any of its benefits), and if you get that, then proceed with the uninstall.
