Straightening the horizon with trees in front of it

How do you straighten a very curved horizon when there are trees between the camera and the horizon?

Without seeing the image or knowing which software you're using, it's impossible to say for sure.

You may need to use layer masks to separate foreground (trees) from background and straighten each layer separately.
