Student account expired, is there any way I can find the files?

I recently quit university and without warning me first my university deactivated my student account and I've lost access to all the artwork I had on that license, which is great since all my portfolio artwork was stored on the cloud connected to that account. Is there anywhere I might be able to find the files from my computer files or will I have to contact the university about it to recover them?

    Going forward guard against data loss.  Backup important files on externals or dedicated cloud backup & recovery systems like DropBox, Google Drive or Backblaze.

    You should always have a local copy of all files, not just in the cloud
    If you don't have space on your computer drive use an external drive
    I use a Sata docking station and SEVERAL 'bare' drives for backup
    There are many external drive devices, this is the one I use
