Sync Error

Most of my files are synced but some of my files are not syncing to my local CC folder even though they appear on the web. I cannot delete these files over the web. Anyone have a solution for this situation?

I solved the problem. My problem was exactly this: 7 pdf files were not syncing at all with my local CC folder and a constant annoying exclamation point was greeting me. I could see these files on CC Web but I couldn't delete, move or rename them. Later, I thought that intervening from a above area might produce a solution and I moved the folder where they are located to another place and my problem disappeared. It was frustrating but I found out that there is a simple solution. I hope it will be useful for those who have similar problems.

for others, this was the solution:

pause syncing.

move all files from your local cc sync folder elsewhere

delete all files in your local cc sync folder (after performing above so the files are backed up).

unpause syncing.

reset your cc desktop app.

any sync error?

Hi There,

Welcome to our Community forum. We are sorry for your difficulties. To help you better could you please let us know the below information to investigate:

>> The OS version of your system

>> The version of the Creative Cloud desktop application

>>Please let us know the file types which are not syncing with the cloud

You could try some troubleshooting as below:

reset the cc desktop app: make sure it's in the foreground, then press:
Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

1. Pausing sync and resuming back in the Creative Cloud desktop application
2. Logging out of your account and log in again
3. Restarting your system

Please check if you have any server issue

Please let us know the information asked above and how it goes while you troubleshoot. we hope to hear from you soon.

Regards,

Neelam

Hello,

>> The OS version of your system: MacOS Ventura 13.2.1

>> The version of the Creative Cloud desktop application: Latest version

>>Please let us know the file types which are not syncing with the cloud: pdf files

>>Since when are you facing this issue? - For a long time. I had a MAC that didn't receive updates so I thought I was getting such an error because of the OS. I contacted when the error persisted in the current system.

>>If you could share a screenshot of the error or any error message you receive - I am adding.

I have performed all the troubleshooting options you specified. But still the problem persists.
