Sync icon persists

Often when I wake my Mac, the blue syncing icon persists on the on the CC icon. It won't go away until I open CC and click on the Cloud Activity icon. Any ideas how to get this behavior to stop?

reset the cc desktop app by making sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

I've done this in the past, and even reinstalled CC altogether. The problem returned, unfortunately. I'm on an M1 Mac.

if a problem consistently returns, there's something on your or something you're doing that causes the problem to recur.

in the meantime do nothing or fix it again.
