Question

Too many background process + stealth downloads.

In my task manager I have this :

Adobe Genuine Software Integrity Service
Adobe Genuine Software Service

Adobe Installer

Adobe IPC Broker

Adobe Notification Client

Adobe Update Service

CCLibraries

CCXProcess

Core Sync
Creative Cloud
Creative Could Helper
Creative Could Helper (yes twice)

And I probably missed some.I'm pretty sure most of this is utterly useless. How to I get rid of this whilst still be able to use Photoshop? It's also downloading stuff in the background, even when no adobe apps are open. And that's a serious problem when you need internet to work.

The processes are necessary to run the Adobe Creative Cloud apps.  If they are slowing your internet connection I would be suspicious of other activity on your network as these processes use mostly memory which could slow down some older machines, but shouldn't utilize a ton of your network bandwidth unless an actual update is downloading.

Yes, as you said it does download updates in the background without notifying me, which is messing with my bandwith. That's the issue I'm talking about ...

And please, stop lying about the background processes. They're running even if no Adobe apps are open. And apps like photoshop still run fine if I end them in task manager.

Open CC Desktop App.

Disable Notifications.

Disable Automatic app updates.

Quit CC Desktop with Ctrl + W (Win).

Problem solved.
