Uploading to Creative Cloud desktop app problem

Question

I am trying to upload videos from an SD card to the Creative Cloud desktop app which I believe is supposed to allow uploads of files of up to 5GB. I am only trying one video at a time of less than 5GB but I keep getting a message saying that my file is "over the maximum size (1GB)". Everywhere I look says that the limit should be 5GB for the app so I am confused and was wondering if anyone knows why this might be and how I might get round it.

You can upload files up to 20 GB in the Creative Cloud Files folder. If you attempt to upload anything larger, you may see some unexpected errors.

You can upload files up to 1 GB in the Synced files section of your Creative Cloud website. If you attempt to upload anything larger, you may see some unexpected upload failures.
