Question

Use all Adobe Creative Cloud apps Offline

Hi everybody,

While I am working on my Adobe apps on holiday I have to use a public open internet connection, which is sensitive for malware. Is there a way I can stay offline with my computer and still use my AE, AI and ME? Does an offline mode exists? Would also be nice on places where I don't have internet,

thank you in advance!

Petra

Hi Petra,

Thanks for reaching out. I would like to inform you that the desktop apps in Creative Cloud, such as Photoshop and Illustrator, are installed directly on your computer. So, you don’t need an ongoing Internet connection to use them.

An Internet connection is required the first time you install and license your apps. But, you can use the apps in offline mode with a valid software license. The desktop apps attempt to validate your software licenses every 30 days.

Annual members can use the apps for up to 99 days in offline mode. Month-to-month members can use the software for up to 30 days in offline mode.

For more information, please check this article and let us know if that helps: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/kb/internet-connection-creative-cloud-apps.html

Hi,
"An Internet connection is required the first time you install and license your apps. But, you can use the apps in offline mode with a valid software license. The desktop apps attempt to validate your software licenses every 30 days."

This is simply not true,  I have had numerous issues with offline mode despite having an annual full CC plan.
Earlier today I had it twice the same day just because I took my PC offline.
How can Adobe not fix this issue?

Last time I was completely locked out from using any app during a 24-hour ferry ride with no Internat connectivity for 14 hours. Consider the loss of time and money for paying customers because Adobe cannot sort this out!!??

Truly frustrated about this, you waste my time and block me to use applications I have paid for.

I am depending on using these apps partly for my work, and you keep letting me down.
This is really unacceptable.

Hi @Legolas175003280qf3 ,

We're sorry about the trouble. Would you mind telling us more about the issue? Do you get any error messages when using the app offline? From where did you buy the Adobe subscription?
