Using storage for images backup - am i missing something?

As a subscriber of "Photography" plan I have 20gb of storage.

I know it was advertised as 'do your work & access from anywhere', but since I'm always doing work on my desktop computer, using my own HDDs, the whole principle is not exactly for me.

So I was thinking about using CCloud as a backup storage of my best and precious work. Will I have any consequences? I wouldn't want Adobe apps suddenly having it under display for further editing/sharing/etc.
