VERY dissapointed in the path Adobe is taking.

As an avid adobe CC user for my marketing company, everyone on my team as well as the entire community of editors I'm apart of are ALL slowly gravitating away from Adobe as a whole. Adobe used to be the ONLY choice when It came to graphic design, video editing, or special FX. These days, not even close.

As camera technology has gotten better, editing styles have evolved and file sizes/formats have changed adobe is falling behind BAD. The software features themselves are really great, but with zero new optimization or really ANY fresh features in the past 3 years of updates for Pr and Ae, these programs are almost UNUSABLE - they're the most EXPENSIVE ones too! Even with a borderline NASA SUPERCOMPUTER you can't view video in real time raw, and don't even get me STARTED on editing with even one effect added on.

Even CAPCUT... a FREE PIECE OF SOFTWARE has taken over Pr for me because I don't have 6 days to edit a single video. Time to edit is very important when you're trying to run a business, and it seems like adobe doesn't understand that nor do they care to do anything to fix it. In my own personal research I see more complaints about After Effects performance issues than ANY other software. Plugins that run HORRIBLY in After Effects  will run seamlessly in Davinci Resolve or Final Cut, and the actual media engines in all the other softwares are lightyears ahead of anything adobe is doing.

Normally I'm not one to complain, but when my I start missing deadlines because my after effects takes an HOUR just to real time render one 15 second clip it gets EXTREMELY frustrating. And before the comments like, "Clear your render cache, rebuild your pc, change this setting or that setting..." I HAVE- WE HAVE. Every one of the guys on my team have anywhere from a 3070ti to a 4090 GPU, the highest end CPU's from AMD or Intel, 64gb MINIMUM of memory, and 1-2tb of NVMe storage JUST for cache. Our computers run the exact same footage and borderline exact same effects in every other software SEAMLESSLY - THESE PROGRAMS ARE ONE TIME PAYMENT TOO!!!!!

I love you Adobe, I want to continue to use your products for my business but I can't see myself continuing to use them if none of your developers have a single clue what the programs actually need, or make any adjustments based on your customer's feedback. We don't need 58943058390 AI features, we need optimization. I find it very unsettling you can roll out AE & PR 2024 and its virtually NO DIFFERENT than 2021 or 2022. To be completely honest, I'm still running AE AND PR in 2022 because the newest versions run even WORSE.

I'm sure nobody will ever read this or do anything about it, but I have to do my part if there's any hope .
