VulcanMessageLib Runtime Error

I’m encountering a runtime error related to the following module:

Program: ...\node-vulcanjs\build\Release\VulcanMessageLib.node
File: C:\bd\workspace\CCX-Process\release\...vulcanadapter.cc
Line: 412
Expression: vulcan_

Chat GPT reports that this appears to be an assertion failure within a native Node.js extension, possibly linked to Adobe Creative Cloud’s CCXProcess.  I would be grateful if anyone could answer the following:

1.  Is VulcanMessageLib.node a proprietary Adobe component, or does it rely on third-party libraries.

2. Can this module be disabled or isolated without impacting core Creative Cloud functionality

3. Are there any known compatibility issues with recent Windows updates, Node.js versions, or Visual

4. Is there a patch, update, or configuration adjustment that addresses this assertion failure?

Please let me know if you require additional logs or system details.

Thankyou

Tony K

Hi @notrik_7591,

Welcome to the community! We're sorry to hear about this. Could you please let us know which operating system you are using? When exactly do you see this error? Which Adobe app are you using?

We're here to help, just need some info.

Regards,

Tarun

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
