What size photos have you had for your portfolio / myportfolio-site?

I can't find simple advice about this, so asking of any others who have done a myportfolio-site: what size and what settings do you have for your photos? Which looks and works the best?

I assume most likely people looking at my photos will be using their phone.

I would like to discover sort of like a "for dummies" formula for this' as I have never made websites and I am sometimes bad at understanding Adobe's texts about how all of this works.

Have you searched the Portfolio Knowledgebase?

Best practices

  • Save images in RGB color mode.
  • Optimize images for the web,
  • Images should be 20MB or lower. Keep in mind that larger images can impact site performance.
  • We recommend uploading images that are the size of the container they're filling, or at most 2x that dimension for Retina resolution.
  • We recommend uploading cover images that are below 1MB.

Photoshop > File > Export > Export As

Hope that helps.
