Why are our shared files are disappearing to the trashcan and archives?

there are 5 of us that share one folder in creative cloud. all 5 of us have our own CC accounts and share one folder in one of the file CC accounts. These files, from time to time disappear and we later find them (all 400 files) in the trash can on each of our desktops and in the CC's archive folder. Somehow, CC is deleting our files? Not sure how to resolve that.

We all use Macs, some are the latest OS some are a little older.
