Why can I share my folder (folders inside the shared folder) with some people, but others don't have access?

I know how to share folders and files. I want some guests to view my videos. It works for some guests but others can't open the files inside the shared folder. I spend many hours trying to find the solutions on forums etc... Can someone explain to me what is happening?
