Why won't it let me upload RAW photos to my CC library?

I'm attempting to upload some .raw photos and I'm getting this error. Seems kinda crazy that the foundational format for photography files wouldn't be compatible with Creative Cloud, so I'm assuming there must be an error or a setting that I've got wrong?

    As an alternative, DNG seems to be accepted.

    Unfortunately my camera doesn't shoot in that format 😞

    you can use adobe's dng converter, https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/using/adobe-dng-converter.html

      There is no error, and the message is clear... you may only upload a file type that is listed

      That's pretty unfortunate. Can't imagine why it wouldn't support the most common format for photographers to use in Photoshop.
