Will Creative Cloud still sync if quit app?

Will Creative Cloud still sync if I quit the app from the menu bar? I have a Mac, and once I look at the menu bar icon, my only choices are hide or quit. Do I need to leave Creative Cloud running in order for it to sync? I’d like to quit, but not if that would cause Creative Cloud to not sync!

Creative Cloud app needs to be running (with sync enabled in the preferences) in order for sync to work
