2nooks

Cannot activate a second nook. I am running Windows, tried to follow instructions as given for a mac. Second nook cannot be set up with same email address (Barnes and Noble won't allow) and I cannot get library books to open on the 2nd nook. "error dialog: user not activated"

How do I do this? ADE doesn't give a "setup device" box when I open it with nook connected. First nook-- no problem.
