4.5.7 is corrupting pages

Adobe Digital Editions is causing strange display errors (see sample image below) (such errors do not appear in version 3)

Same errors appear on the latest iPad app.

The errors seem rather random - resizing a page or scrolling between pages causes the distortion to change.
