ACROBAT PRO INSATLLATION FAILURE ON WINDOWS XP PRO SP3

I have downloaded the trial version of Acrobat PRO DC installer and the message "Acrobat installer encountered an unexpected failure." appears and it will not install Acrobat.

I have downloaded the Acrobat IT Tools Cleaner, which removed all traces of existing Acrobat software. Performed a reboot and reran the installer. It still comes up with the same message.

How do I overcome this failure?

    If you used Windows XP you meet not the system requirements: Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, Acrobat Standard DC system requirements
