Acsm file. How do I read it from more than one device?

I have installed Digital Editions on my mac and logged in with my ID.

I have then installed Digital Editions on my Ipad using the same ID. 

The problem is that the files that are present on my Mac, I can't see them on the iPad. What can I do?
