How do I get ADE to recognise an acsm file? Trying to download the file Adobe Reader opens by default and issues an error message that the file is incompatible. ADE is not listed as an option to be made the default file.

I have been trying fro two days to download two books purchased via Google Play.

A sample.epub file from the Adobe site downloads and instsalls correctly to ADE, but acsm files only appear in the download folder as small files. Double-clicking (as suggested by Help) launches Reader, and we're back to square one.

    Has you try: Right click on the file > choose open with > click search and choose the path of digital edition and choose the exe > activate the option that should allways used this program
