activation / authorisation error message

Unable to authorize.

After completing with my ID and password the authorisation process fails with this error message:

"Activation Server error

code : E_ADEPT_REQUEST_EXPIRED http://adeactivate.adobe.com/adept.Activate 2018-11-07...………………...

DIGITAL EDITIONS encountered an error on the activation server"

My password is recognised.

Any solutions to this. I've already been through the normal online help with this. I have screen shots if required
