Activation Server error code: E_ADEPT_INTERNAL

Installed ADE 3.0 to use with my Kobo eReader. My computer is authorized, my device is authorized.

But I'm unable to read books on my computer or copy books to my device.

When trying to read in ADE I get this error: Activation Server error code: E_ADEPT_INTERNAL

When I try to copy books to my device: CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED - no permission to copy the book.
