ADE 3.0 required on mac OS BigSur

Hello,
To use the digital books from my municipal library, I need to have ADE version 3.0 maximum, but my mac is under OS BigSur and when I install ADE 3.0 on it, I get a message when I open it error asking me to update my version of ADE.
Do you have a solution for me?

      I have Big Sur 11.6.3 I can't read my public library books anymore. I have ADE 4.5. The kobo people told me I had to delete this version and add an older one. I don't which and where to get it.
