ADE 4.5.8 crashing or not responding on new Windows 10 1803

Have reinstalled several times to no avail. Whn attempting to copy an '.epub' from ADE to my Kobo Aura One, the copy function freezes and will not complete. Issue has only appeared since the new Win 10 1803 installation.

Any and all help appreciated.

    To be more clear with the issue - the copy to KOBO reader function freezes the program and/or goes to 'Not responding' immediately upon cliking send to device. I have tried 3 different version of ADE 4.5.2, 4.5.7, and 4.5.8 pluse the older 3.0 ADE. All respond in a similar way.
