ADE 4.5.8 not responding

Hi there! I have just purchased some books and I am trying to get them downloaded. I first had an authorization problem that I managed to fix but now ADE just crashes and comes up with 'not responding', every time I try to do something with my new books. I have however got older books from the same bookstore and they work fine. Please help.
