ADE closing when Nook turns on

Prior to today, ADE was working fine with my Nook Glowlight.  Today, it downloads the library books fine, and my Nook shows on the desktop, but once I turn the Nook on, ADE closes abruptly.  I have deleted and reinstalled ADE, unauthorized and reauthorized, taken the new book out of the ADE library and added another; same problem.  I also tried it on another computer with the same result.  I am able to purchase and download books from B&N with no problem.  

Contacted B&N, but they were no help.
