ADE Crashes Every Time I Try To Add Book to Nook

I have a Nook and use a Mac. Our library uses Adobe Digital Editions in order for us to check out and transfer ebooks to our Nook. I have installed the program, everything is authorized, but every time I try to add a book to the Nook the program crashes. There is a detailed crash report every time it happens, I can send if necessary. Please help. Thank you
